What can I expect after I donate to your cause?
Donors who have subscribed to our newsletter will receive a quarterly newsletter via email. An annual report will be distributed to all donors by mail by Jan 31st following the end of the reporting year. (ex. an Annual report closing December 31, 2018 will be received by donors by Jan 31, 2019). Other correspondence related to organization events and causes will be distributed on an infrequent basis but not more than once weekly.
How do I volunteer for your cause?
If you would like to volunteer for any events or causes for our organization, please complete the form on our contact us page or email us at contactus@originsoffemininity.org or complete a volunteer form at https://originsoffemininity.org/become-a-volunteer/ Please include the cause our event that you wish to volunteer for, your name, contact information and any other pertinent details.
How do I put on an event for your cause?
Because we are a nonprofit organization, fundraising is an essential part of the revenue for our organization. We are always excited to hear that our supporters the believers in our mission want to get involved in helping us achieve or financial goals. If you would like to host an event to raise funds for Origins of Femininity Inc., please contact Mia Harris (miaharris@originsoffemininity.org) with information pertaining to your event (date, time, location, theme of the event, etc.). All considerations for third-party events need to be received in writing. Please provide a primary contact name and phone number in your email. If you wish to send your event idea by mail, please send to 1029 Peachtree Parkway N., Suite 193, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
How do I get a refund on my donation?
We understand that sometimes mistakes happen and often in the excitement of giving you may have written over what you should have on a check or added one too many zeros during an online donation. If that is the case, please do not be alarmed. Although we need your donation, we do not want your donation to be the cause of undue stress or financial burden. Please send an email explaining the situation along with the details of your donation via email at contactus@originsoffemininity.org or write us at 1029 Peachtree Parkway N., Suite 193, Peachtree City, GA 30269. However, if you need immediate assistance please call Mia Harris @ (470) 285-2711. Depending on how your donation was received, your funds can be refunded in as early as 3 business days or as long as 10 business days.
Is your online donation form secure?
Our website uses highly secure platforms to process your donations. Our site is secured with recaptcha, WooCommerce and the PayPal donation systems to mention a few. Our platforms are updated regularly to ensure that they remain as secure as possible to protect your information at all times.
What is an In-Kind donation?
In-kind gifts are contributions of goods or services, other than cash grants. Examples of in-kind gifts include:
- Goods, like computers, software, furniture, and office equipment, for use by your organization or for special event auctions
- Services, like meeting space, photocopy and mail services, and administrative/financial support
- Expertise, like legal, tax, or business advice; marketing and website development; and strategic planning
- Cash equivalents, like stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
How can I make an In-Kind donation?

Although all donations are appreciated, we cannot promise that all in-kind donations can be accepted, as the donation has to fit the needs of the organization.
How can I unsubscribe from Origins of Femininity's mailing list or newsletter?
At the bottom of each email that you receive, there will be a link that you can click on that will unsubscribe you from our mailing list. If you find that you are still receiving unwanted correspondence from our organization, please email us at contactus@originsoffemininity.org for assistance.
What percentage of my donation goes to the cause?
Approximately 85 percent of your donation goes to the cause. The remainder of the donation is used to cover overhead costs associated with actions related to the cause.
What do you do with my information?
We treat all personal information that we receive from our donors completely confidential. Your information is not shared with any other organization without your explicit consent. Donor information is only used for Origins of Femininity Inc. own organizational fundraising goals and data needs.
